This blog came out of my experiences working with students over the past 40 years and the need to document my journey through the crafting world. The purpose of this blog is to learn from my past while continuing to grow in the future through a greater community. All I know and have learned at this point is through observing my mother, a home economics teacher and seamstress extraordinaire, and through my very patient students who provide inspiration and educate me as well during each class that I host.
As a visitor here, you are part of a fantastic community. Every comment, question, and suggestion in the blog excites, inspires, and uncovers new perspectives. Answering questions about sewing and machine embroidery, especially the challenging ones, help me grow in my understanding of techniques and skills. Thank you so much for being part of this community and do not forget to follow me on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social media sites, and sign up for the newsletter.
You are welcome to keep coming back here to see new content. However, a better option is to subscribe to my newsletter! You will get updates on new posts and special content that are only available to my subscribers.
